This training will help you get clarity in your music, business and life.
It will connect you to your inner heart, so you can see ‘your project’ in different light.
It will also help you to become more creative.
HOW TO DO IT
There are 3 STEPS we need to do.
STEP 1 – WAKE UP 1 HOUR BEFORE SUN RISE
STEP 2 – INTENTIONAL WALK / HIKE / RUN / VISUALIZATION / MEDITATION
(30 or 60 minute session)
STEP 3 – ‘SUN GLORY’ DIARY WRITTING
HOW LONG TO DO IT
If you are a starter, then commit to 3 or 7 days.
See how the training works for you.
Then when you figure out and feel good at your ritual,
continue with longer sessions.
WHERE & WHEN
Do it at home (whole year sessions) or when you go to some special location (traveling / hollidays)
Summer and winter mornings are great, but for winter time you need to be ‘advanced’ clubber.
WHY MORNING BUDDHA TRAINING
“Buddha” means “one who is awake.”
The Buddha who lived 2,600 years ago was not a god.
He was an ordinary person just like you, but he knew something more.
He learned how to see our world differently.
And because of his advantage, his profound insights inspired the world.
Buddhism teaches that we all live in a fog of illusions created by mistaken perceptions and “impurities” — hate, greed, ignorance. A buddha is one who is free from the fog.
This training was made to help you see our world differently. By MORNING WALKING ritual where we walk intentionaly to see the beauty of our world, we put ourselves into the ‘alpha zone’, where your mind becomes more sensitive.
We start to see things from different perspective, we can go more deep into the topics we want to explore, and we become more aware of our mission on this planet.
When we put an intentional diary writing to our morning practice, we get many ideas of who we are and where we want to go. We can also see more clearly our project and improve the execution of it.
By doing occasionally or regulary the Morning Buddha Training, you life can only improve.
So try it now and say NO later.
STEP 1:
SET YOUR INTENTION
NOTE:
In this training we’re gonna focus on MUSIC IMPROVISATION,
but you can use same technique also for other fields of your life.

Your intention should be first thing you do in the morning.
The following ritual should be the cause of your morning intention.
Based on time of the year, you can have different intentions.
What is INTENTION?
Intention is something that you want to discover during your session.
In the morning I like to get inside of my heart, so I can see the world in warm color.
Warm color helps me with my music, and it also helps me on all other areas of my life.
WARM is Happy / COLD is Sad
MUSIC INTENTIONS:
In each ritual as you will see later, you will need to set up your intention first.
Intention will help you to open your mind for things that your don’t see daily.
Your mind will start collecting informations about things that your haven’t seen before.
And same is with sounds, rhythms, tones, chords, etc.
Few EXAMPLES of what your music intention can be:
– I WANT TO EXPLORE COLORS OF SOUNDS
– I WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE RHYTHM
– I WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE NATURE SOUNDS
– I WANT TO EXPLORE CITY TRAFFIC PATTERNS
– I WILL COUNT SOUNDS ON MY WALK
EXAMPLES of non-music intention:
– I WANT TO BE PRESENT
– I WANT TO CONNECT WITH MY BREATHING
– I WANT TO FEEL MY BODY MORE
– I WANT TO SEE MORE BEAUTY AROUND ME
– I WILL SMELL AIR MORE
BUSINESS / PROJECT INTENTIONS EXAMPLES:
– I WANT TO VISUALIZE MY OUTCOME AFTER 5 YEARS
– I WANT TO DISCOVER WHAT DRIVES ME IN THIS PROJECT
– I WANT TO THINK ABOUT WHAT PARTNERS DO I NEED IN THIS PROJECT
– I WILL VISUALIZE THE MONTHLY GOALS
– WHY I WANT TO DO THIS PROJECT
BE CREATIVE:
You can use intention in so many ways.
After you set up intention, then you need a vehicle for your intention.
Here we have lot’s of options again.
I like INTENTIONAL WALK in the summer, and INTENTIONAL MEDITATION or VISUALIZATION in winter.
But, you can also do slow RUNNING or CYCLING.
With slow I mean realy SLOW!!!
If you will do it fast, then your body will take over and your mind won’t be able to process your intention goal.
MOST IMPORTANT THING:
Is your intention.
It should be very SIMPLE and very CLEAR.
If simple and clear, it will help you to go more deep into the thing you want to master.
STEP 2:
INTENTIONAL WALKING
NOTE:
Slent walking in the morning has been the best practice,
that helped me to grow as a musician, and as a human.

When you wake up early in the morning, your mind is calm.
You are very sensitive so it’s a perfect timing to observe the world around us.
If you want to see the music, you need to see the world from an other angle.
Same is with business, life and health.
You need to see the world through your heart!
And to do that, the best way for me is to go out and observe things in the morning.
How to do it:
I put timer on my watch for 30 or 60 minutes.
Let’s say my intention is to hear more than usual people.
My goal of morning session will be to concentrate on sounds around me, and just listen.
Very simple task but at the same time very difficult.
First you will need to shut your thoughts about morning ‘non-sense’ up, and then your will need observe.
What sound you are hearing, where they are coming from, what colors are they, how long the tones are, what is the repetition model, do they come from physical objects, humans, animals?
You will try to walk in silence and all what matters is the sound around you.
No judging, just listening.
If ideas come and brain starts to process them, just stop and turn focus to other sound.
Just like with kids when you distract them with a question.
Here is the same thing. You need to distract your brain and change the focus.
PRO-TIP:
‘Focus changing exercise’ is the most valuable lesson I got while I was in Amazon Rainforest, drinking Ayahuasca medicine for 5 days. It showed me the inside of our though process and how to react when we feel bad.
OTHER PRACTICES OR VEHICLES:
Experiment wih sitting meditation, running, cycling, etc.
End goal is to be FULLY AWAKE for your intention for 30-60 minutes.
Yes, you can also call it being PRESENT. Or being MINDFUL.
ONE THING GOAL:
Only 1 thing is important.
Your intention.
STEP 3:
‘SUN GLORY’ DIARY WRITTING
What is SUN GLORY:
When you feel you have enough of your walking, it’s time for your Sun Glory.
I call it Sun Glory in the morning, Walk glory in he afternoon, and Moon Glory at the evening.
Basically it’s a HOT SPOT of your experience.
From each session I always try to get out one very important message.
A short SUM of my best thought, or sound, or pattern.
The idea will follow and now you can get more INTO IT.
Find a nice spot and sit down.
Close your eyes for few minutes and then open your diary.
Put whatever you want in.
Whatever thought or feeling that happened during your session, now it’s the time to write about it.
I like to search for new things that made my session different.
Be creative and write about whatever your want.
How to write your SUN GLORY DIARY:
You can write it in short or long form, diary or poem style.
I like small paper notepads, but you can use whatever you want.
Just don’t use phones or tablets for this.
They will distract your intention and they will steal your precious morning time.
And you don’t want to do that!
Time is all what you have and you need to keep it safe for more important things as stupid social media scrolling.
THE END
After you finish, close your diary and go back home.
Or stop somewhere and grab a cup of coffee, tea, or whatever you want.
Your morning session is FINISHED.
